Hi mrhaki, good posts (all 3)!What we’ve done to aechive “1 WAR to rule them all” is to externalize configuration parameters to load from a properties file. We’ve emptied out the DataSource.groovy which is now loaded externally from a separate datasource.properties. dataSource { }In Config.groovy we load these files(for datasource and config) as - grails.config.locations = [”classpath:config.properties”,”classpath:datasource.properties”]Now anytime we deploy the WAR to a different env (prod/qa/dev), we just change the params in these properties and restart Tomcat. What do you think of this approach? Is it worthy of your time? :D
